Okay guys, I'm realizing that by creating this topic I might be directing more focus onto it than is healthy, but we just wanted to bring something to your attention.

There have been community discussions lately regarding whether or not it's considered a bannable offense to enter the Primum and Terminon Abyss fortresses as a member of the opposite faction. We looked at what you had to say, stroked our chins and nodded, went back into meetings, discussed the matter and then made sure to have a common and consistent line so that you guys don't have to walk about scratching your heads over it.

The game was ultimately designed to be the way it is, which is why we do not consider a breach of shields a bannable offence; for now. We have forwarded feedback to the dev team and we may very likely see changes to how it works in the future, but for now it's a game element as is. If you're worried about getting enemies jumping to attack you when inside the shield, the recommended course of action is to stick near the guards who will offer some protection*. Edit: Keep in mind though, that concious harassment is a different thing, and one that will still get your name put down in the black book (rest assured that you probably won't be able to recreate a scenario where that's applicable).

We're always welcoming comments so feel free to get them over our way if you have any. It's important to hear what you think since our standard procedure involves gathering the community consensus through a myriad of channels (including Aionsource) before we pass it on to the dev team.


* Does not include emotional protection.

Most of them do attack. There might be exceptions, but just avoid the ones with crazy eyes and otherwise shifty looks and you should be fine (well, unless they get killed). Constructive feedback appreciated guys.

You will find this in the User Agreement. You will probably not need to worry about it, but I mentioned it since I don't want anyone to confuse being able to go through the shield with being able to, as per the rules, '"stalk" or otherwise harass another member'.

I'd like to throw in a nice saying such as, "your liberties end where another person's rights begin," but I think that's a tad too diffuse.

Suffice to say that I don't think you'll be able to recreate a "harassment" scenario inside the landings. Just keep it ... you know ... clean.
