I love double XP weekends. It would be nice to have double AP weekends every now and again too. Not for the selfish reason of getting AP easier (ok, just a lil bit of selfishness in there), but to get more people motivated to PVP. With this, the double AP during the weekends should only apply to PVP, not PVE in the abyss. As an added bonus, during the double AP weekends, there would be no AP loss from losing a fight (ok, now that was just damn selfish)!

We've actually tossed around ideas for other types of events like these. I like the Double AP weekend concept, just to boost PvP, but there are other ways to accomplish an activity increase -- for an example soul healer discount weekends (this would be for PvE).

Feel free to share more of your ideas.

I'm not saying the exact same thing would be accomplished, but it would lessen the cost of being killed, thus potentially encouraging more players to participate. It's been a long day, what can I say? Let's let this remain as reference to PvE rather than PvP.

Keep in mind that what I mention here for the sake of discussion and what we will be doing in the future are two different things. I'm trying to start a dialogue.
